{ What should I look for in a wedding photographer? }
I will be honest. Most importantly, you need to feel comfortable and relaxed with your photographer. You need to connect with your photographer and their personality, because this is the one vendor who you will be with the entire day! You need to have a connection to their work and their style of photography, as this will be your final product as well.
{ How would you categorize your photographic style? }
I’ll make this simple, I am a combination of all of those ‘styles’ you hear people talking about. I capture what I see in the most artistic and unobtrusive way possible. I will document your day like a photojournalist would. I will capture your portraits artistically and comfortably. And most importantly I follow my heart and photograph each important moment so that you will both remember your special day for the rest of your lives.
{ How much do your packages cost? }
I tell all my clients the same thing; I have covered weddings for as little as a few hundred dollars all the way to $4,000 and up. My set packages for unlimited full day coverage begin at $2,250. When I meet with each couple, we sit and talk about what it is that they are looking for… for example, how many hours of photography is needed, various album choices, thank you cards, hard copy proofs vs digital negatives, enlargements, engagement/day after/trash the dress portrait sessions, etc. We will customize a package according to your needs, desires, and of course choosing something that will work within your budget.
{ How many photographers do you shoot with? }
Depending on the size of your wedding and your individual needs, I may shoot it alone or I will have up to 2 other photographers with me for the full day.
{ What do you shoot with? }
Everything my assistants and I shoot with is state of the art Canon digital equipment. I bring plenty of equipment on the day of your wedding, including backup equipment for all photographers present and more than enough to handle any situations we may encounter.
{ When will our proofs be ready? }
I will have your proofs online in a password protected gallery (emailed to all of your guests) and your hard copy proofs in your hands 2-3 weeks after the wedding… guaranteed.
{ What types of albums do you offer? }
I offer a wide range of albums for your bridal album, as well as for parent albums, and brag books. Album sizes range from 3×3” to 12×18”. Flush mount, coffee table, and matted albums are all available options. You can choose from a square format, or a vertical or horizontal format. There are numerous cover options for your albums including traditional leather, suede, brocade, two-toned, multiple cover openings, metal covers, acrylic covers, etc. With so many options available, each of my clients has the ability to make their album unique and reflect their true personality as a couple!
{ Who designs my album? }
I take pride in the fact that I design each album from start to finish myself. I do not send your album out to a design company. When other photographers send out their album designs, their clients have no say in the design at all, and tend to be disappointed with the final product. This is YOUR wedding album. You can have as little or as much input in the design as you would like. I have some clients who simply tell me the images they would like included in their album and then leave the rest to me, and I have others who like to contribute a lot to their final design. I can promise you that there is no such thing as a cookie-cutter album from White Pear. Each album that I create is different. I do not use templates or create the same album for each client. Your album will be yours and undoubtedly one of a kind!
{ When will I receive the final book? }
This really depends on how quickly you get back to me with your selections. However generally speaking, most couples receive their album(s) 3-5 months after their wedding.
{ When and where can we meet? }
Simply call and we will schedule a time/date that is convenient for you both. I work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and weekend-nights. I do not have a store-front because it keeps me from having to over-charge my clients so that I can pay my rent each month. 99% of the time I will come to my clients homes with all of my samples and information so that you can sit in comfortable sweats and sip a glass of wine while we discuss your wedding photography.
{ Are you insured? }
Quite simply, yes! I do carry liability insurance, and can fax over a proof of insurance to anyone if needed.
** This is a short list of answers that I frequently give to my clients. I am sure you have many more questions. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any other questions you may have. I am looking forward to hearing from you! **
