I had the pleasure of photographing Gabriella and Gary yesterday at a gorgeous property in Manorville. It’s a friend of Gabriella’s Father’s farm. Pulling up to the home, you would never know of all the amazing locations that are hidden on the property! There is a wooden bridge that the family built years ago, a few tiny houses, one of which they use every Sunday for breakfast with their entire family, as well as stacks of logs, gorgeous gardens, old farm trucks, a wooden barn, and tall mature trees that were planted by their family decades ago. It was an amazing location for this engagement session. I absolutely loved their outfits that they chose. Gary’s blue jeans white t-shirt and cowboy boots combo and Gabriella’s gorgeous lace dress and her cowboy boots were the perfect outfits for this backdrop. I had an amazing time working with these two, and at the end of the shoot the most adorable family of turkeys (and their little babies) walked across the lawn which made my night! I am so happy for these two and I cannot wait until their wedding next year!

Congratulations again on your engagement Gabriella + Gary! See you in May!

Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting Fatos and Joe. They are newly engaged and haven’t even begun the wedding planning process yet, but wanted to schedule an engagement session! So we met at Planting Fields in Oyster Bay, walked the grounds, and enjoyed the beautiful sunny day and the occasional nice breeze! I absolutely loved Fatos’ dress and the flowers she brought with her. And I was so thrilled to see that the rose arches were in bloom!! I absolutely love all the images from this session and I am so excited to share these!

Congratulations again on your engagement Fatos and Joe!

I have known Liz for years, her sister Katie married my cousin Eric and I have known her ever since! I clearly remember meeting Jim for the first time at my Aunt’s house and Liz introducing me as their wedding photographer {they weren’t even engaged at that point!}. Its always so flattering when I have people who tell me I am their future wedding photographer before their boyfriend pops the question – it also happens when they aren’t even in a relationship! Its such an honor to be chosen to document the most important day of a couples life! So of course I was thrilled when Liz reached out letting me know that Jim proposed and they wanted me to be a part of their day {just like she said a few years ago!} I had the best day with these two on Friday. It was another rainy day, but we did get a few hours without rain while we were at Planting Fields Arboretum to capture some beautiful photos of these two and their bridal party! And they had one of the cutest most well behaved flower girls I have ever worked with! I am so excited to share these images with you from their fun and incredibly beautiful wedding!

Congratulations again Liz and Jim! Cheers to many years of love and laughter!!!

The weather forecast for Kristen and Anthony’s wedding this past Saturday called for a cloudy but dry day, but on the morning of the the wedding Mother Nature had other plans in store for us! We ended up having rain on and off all day, but we still went to Bayard Cutting Arboretum for their portraits and were able to get a lot done in between rain drops! We headed to the Venetian Yacht Club for a few more portraits when we left the park, and then had their beautiful ceremony and reception. Kristen and Anthony have the most beautiful baby girl, and had gotten married before their wedding celebration this weekend. So this weekend was all about celebrating their union and their beautiful family of three! Their heartfelt ceremony was beautiful and their dance floor was packed the whole night! I had a great time working with this adorable family and I am so happy I was able to capture these moments for them!

Congratulations again to the new Mr and Mrs! Here’s to many years of happiness together!

Last night, on the hottest – most humid day we have had all year {maybe not but it sure felt like it!} I met up with Danielle and Andy to shoot their engagement session. We shot their session at Planting Fields {my all time favorite location for engagement sessions}. It was supposed to rain last night but we decided to go for it, and we ended up getting a sunny afternoon! These two looked amazing, and I can’t believe what a trooper Andy was in long sleeves {ah!}. He didn’t complain. Not even once! These two were so incredibly easy to photograph. They are so cute together, and despite the heat, got so close and were so happy during their session. At one point towards the end of the session I said that shooting at great locations like Planting Fields, with a great couple like these two, makes it so hard to stop shooting and call it a night! Danielle loves taking photos also, and described the feeling I was having as being a kid in a candy store – and that’s exactly how I feel when I shoot! I am so thankful that this is my career. After almost 10 years of documenting couples, I still get excited about it! Last night was no exception!

Congratulations on your engagement Danielle + Andy! I am looking so forward to your wedding in May!!
