Ashley + Mike ~ Oyster Bay, New York Engagement Session ~ Planting Fields Arboretum

Ashley and Mike’s engagement session was this past Saturday on the most beautiful Spring day we have had so far!

We had their session at Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay

Where these gorgeous trees are in full bloom!!!

Photographing in a cut off shirt, in front of these gorgeous trees with the sun shining on our faces gave me so much hope!

Spring is finally on its way!!

We then walked the grounds together, hitting all of my favorite spots

Like this one {below} 🙂

Tucked them in this gorgeous spot for some close up portraits

Had them do some more walking…

and more cuddling

and kissing in this little alcove

they sat amongst some fresh spring blooms coming up through the grass by Coe Hall

and danced and played together under the rose arches in the same spot where Mike proposed!!!She said yes 😉This smile kills me! And Ashley’s hair?! Im so close to making an appointment to get that blonde streak put back in my hair!! {I had one years ago and loved it! Ashley votes yes, what about you?!}This glowy image makes my heart smileand this one too! At the end of their session we walked to the other side of the park to my favorite greenhouse on Long Island! I want this white washed greenhouse in my backyard!!
And last but not least the gorgeous ring Mike gave to Ashley!

I had the best time working with these two. I really am so blessed with the most amazing clients. I am so thankful for these two and all of you beautiful people who trust me to document your engagement and wedding days <3 Have a beautiful night everyone <3

Brenna + Mike ~ Babylon, New York Engagement Session ~ Robert Moses Beach

This is Brenna and Mike!

We met at Robert Moses Beach on Sunday afternoon for their engagement session

It was sunny all day, but the clouds rolled in as we pulled up to the beach. I’m not going to lie, I really love how the clouds look in this image!

We walked around the property, up to the lighthouse, and to one of my favorite spots next to this little building.

Had moments like this one where these two had me laughing at the thought that this would be the engagement photo they use

We were battling wind the whole session, but not for nothing, sometimes it just works!

These two had so much fun together.

But were also so tender with each other too

Half way through our session the sun peeked out! So we were able to get some beautiful golden light before we headed to the beach!

Im so happy the sun came out for this photo!

So the beach was a little cold on Sunday at sunset.

Ok it was a lot cold…

But the cold didn’t bother these two! {as I hear the Frozen theme song in my head}

Brenna even brought this perfect blanket to cozy up on the beach with Mike before we called it a night!

A quick dance {initiated by Mike!}

A few ring details of Brenna’s stunning ring!

And we ended with this perfect sunset.

Congratulations on your engagement Brenna and Mike! I had the best time working with you this weekend, and cannot wait for your wedding this June!

Lisa + Bobby ~ Westbury, New York Wedding ~ Westbury Manor

Lisa and Bobby were married last week on Friday the 30th on a rainy day. It rained on and off all day, but Lisa was so determined to have outdoor photos so we made it happen {clear umbrellas for the win!}! These two were so sweet and so easy to work with. I had the best time documenting their wedding and am so excited to share these photos with you!

Congratulations Lisa and Bobby! Here’s to many years of love together!

I absolutely loved these Michael Kors heels! Those who know me, know I love MK!! Obligatory ring shot! I always shoot so many photos of the rings. Heres one from their wedding!
These are Lisa’s late Grandmothers pearls that she wore. I absolutely love when personal and meaningful items are incorporated into a couples wedding day.Maid of honor putting the last minute touches on Lisa’s dress! Doing those buttons is tedious but SO worth it!I love this image of Lisa so much! The first time Bobby saw his bride <3 So happy!! The exit is one of my favorite parts after the couple is pronounced Mr and Mrs for the first time!Classic symmetrical silhouette.Obsessed with these purple stained glass windows! Bubbles always make for beautiful exit photos! It was drizzling a bit as we were leaving the church, but I love these candid photos of Lisa and Bobby as they walked to their car to head over to Westbury Manor. I was so thankful for this overhang at the entrance of Westbury Manor! The rain wasn’t giving up when we arrived so we took advantage of this perfect location to hide away from the rain! I loved this mint and rose color combination for the ladies! And it was chilly those shawls were perfect!
I love black and white groomsmen photos. And these men were hysterical and so easy to work with!
Wedding day cuddles.
Rain didn’t stop these two. All Lisa wanted was outdoor photos on her wedding, and even with the rain – she got what she wanted!! Thanks to these perfect clear umbrellas!
This cake topper!! LOVE!Loved this sweet moment with Bobby’s Mom during his parent dance <3 Lisa danced with her brother which was also so sweet.
Ended the night with a cigar bar for the boys. Bobby’s three loves: Lisa, golf and cigars!

Kristen + Rich ~ Huntington, New York Wedding ~ Oheka Castle

Kristen + Rich had their gorgeous Gold Coast wedding this past Sunday at Oheka Castle. It was my first time shooting at this beautiful location, and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with there! From their getting ready with all the perfectly planned details including their velvet vows book, to Kristen’s Mrs boxes, her stunning lace gown, and their beautiful rose bouquets. Everything looked so perfectly coordinated! The bridesmaids wore wine colored dresses, and the groomsmen were in traditional black. We photographed their first look at the staircase when you enter into the castle, where Rich watched as Kristen walked down the stairs to him. After their first look we had plenty of time to take advantage of their beautiful grounds, and photograph the two of them, their bridal party and their families before the ceremony! We were so luck with the weather on Sunday, as it had snowed Saturday night, but we ended up with the most beautiful sunny and warm day! So unlike February weather! It was beautiful. Photographing these two was a dream. They were so natural and easy to shoot, and we really had such a great creative session with these two! Their ceremony was planned so that we would have beautiful golden light coming through the windows during their ‘I do’s’ and it couldn’t have worked out better. The lighting in their ceremony room was so warm and pretty. Their ceremony was so heartfelt and really sweet. I love when couples write their own vows! They had a tying of the knot ceremony assisted by their Moms, and then wrapped up the ceremony right before heading into cocktail hour! Their reception was so great. Entrances were lively, their first dance was coordinated and perfect, and their toasts were filled with so much love. We ended the night with a quick night shot under some beautiful arches right after they cut their cake. I had the best day with these two!

Congratulations again Kristen + Rich! Here’s to many years of love and happiness!!

Erica + Ryan ~ Glen Head, New York Wedding ~ Brookville Country Club

Erica and Ryan’s wedding was this past Saturday at St Patricks Church in Glen Cove, with their reception following at the newly renovated Brookville Country Club! These two were so amazing to photograph and be around all day. They are two of the easiest people to work with and Erica is probably the nicest and happiest person I have ever met in my life! She had the biggest smile on her face all day, and was so funny, and light hearted and I truly enjoyed photographing their beautiful wedding! We started their day at Glen Cove Mansion where they both got ready, before heading out to their church ceremony in Glen Cove. Their prep was filled with beautiful little details, and fun happy moments, as Erica’s sisters did everyones hair and makeup, and her entire bridal party was family. She gave gifts to her Mom and soon to be Mother in law that made them both emotional, and we even had an impromptu first look with Erica’s Dad. Ryan’s prep was spent with his parents and groomsmen, and they had a quick toast before heading out to the ceremony. Their ceremony was sweet and beautiful, and following their ‘I do’s’ we headed out to their venue to finish up photos and get them into their cocktail hour with their guests! Just as their reception started, the snow began to fall. It fell soft but accumulated quickly and we were able to sneak out after their entrances and toasts for a beautiful night shot in the falling snow in between two trees on the property that framed the couple perfectly! A cigar and cordials bar was the finishing touch to their  perfect reception, and they ended the night with their guests dancing the night away! It was a perfect wedding, and I am so happy I was there to document these moments for them!

Congratulations again Erica + Ryan! Here’s to many years filled with love and happiness!
