Barbara + Chris ~ Jamesport, New York Wedding ~ Jamesport Manor Inn

This past Saturday was Barbara and Chris’ wedding. They had been planning for over a year and couldn’t wait to have their wedding at the beautiful Jamesport Manor Inn. They both got ready at The Farmhouse on Front Street, a gorgeous rental property big enough for their bridal party and immediate family to stay at, with the most beautifully lit and decorated rooms! After everyone was ready we did their first look on the porch out back, and then photographed them in and around the property before leaving for the ceremony! Barbara and her Dad pulled up in his beautiful white car, and we met their three adorable flower girls there early for some photos before getting these two married! After their ceremony we headed straight to Jamesport Manor Inn where they had lawn games set up next to their tented reception space, adorned with baskets of flowers with apples – a nod to the apple orchard surrounding the reception space – a naked cake decorated with greenery and berries, and a cocktail hour with a diy photo booth and a raw bar. How perfect! Their first dance {after Barbara entered being pushed by Chris in a wheelbarrow} was the sweetest most fun and heartwarming first dance. Barbara lit up on the dance floor and the party was amazing, even despite the rain that unexpectedly showed up during their reception! They ended the night with a piñata filled with mini booze bottles, candy and lotto tickets. It was so much fun! I had an amazing time documenting their day and couldnt be happier for these two. Thanks for choosing us to be there to capture it all!

Congratulations again Barbara + Chris! Here’s to many more happy days like this one filled with laughter and love!

Emily + Anthony ~ Oyster Bay, New York Engagement Session ~ Planting Fields Arboretum

I had the pleasure of meeting Emily at a photo shoot I was on a few years ago. She is a very talented hair dresser and she did my hair {so beautifully!}. Fast forward to early last month when she contacted me about her engagement! She and Anthony are planning a destination wedding and wanted to hire me to photograph their engagement photos! I was so honored that she reached out, and thrilled when we set it up! Yesterday was our scheduled shoot date, and it was calling for rain – all. day. Due to both of them owning their own businesses their work schedules are really tough to plan around so we decided to switch their location and shoot at Planting Fields Arboretum in their greenhouse {where we would have cover from the rain!}. We were the only ones in the park since it was raining so we shot most of their photos in the greenhouse, but since it wasn’t down pouring – and these two were down for anything – we took a little walk {with umbrellas} over to Coe Hall for the end of their session! I had so much fun with these two and love the way these photos turned out – the rain couldn’t stop us!

Congratulations again Emily and Anthony! Thank you for choosing me to capture this happy time in your life!

Michele + Jon ~ Sayville, New York Wedding ~ Lands End

Michele and Jon’s wedding was this past Saturday at Lands End in Sayville. I love shooting here, and these two were the perfect couple to have at one of my favorite venues on Long Island! They both got ready at the Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge {one of my favorite hotels for prep!!} and then we headed to Bayard Cutting Arboretum for their first look and portraits. We had the most beautiful sunny day for their wedding and got the most stunning photos of these two and their families and bridal party! Their first look was absolutely adorable. Jon was so moved throughout the entire day and the tears started flowing at their first look. I absolutely loved how much he adores Michele! They both feel so lucky to have each other in their lives and it was so beautiful to witness and an honor to document! We headed over to Lands End for their sunset ceremony and reception, and everything was just beautiful. I am so thankful I was a part of it!!

Congratulations Michele + Jon! Here’s to many years of happy tears and adoration for each other!!

Giselle + Justin ~ Jericho, New York Wedding ~ Milleridge Inn

Giselle and Justin were referred to me from one of my best friends {who I got to see at the wedding!}, and when we met at their engagement session at the Alpaca Farm I fell in love with them immediately! Their funny, laid back, goofy and super happy personalities lit me up! Not to mention Justin has one of the biggest happiest smiles I have ever seen on a groom! He and Giselle are so perfectly matched that documenting their love story was effortless for me! They met through the best man, and were so excited to plan and have their wedding at Milleridge Inn. We did their first look at Cedarmere in Roslyn {a location I love so much} and then headed to their church ceremony in Douglaston. After their beautiful ceremony we went straight to Milleridge for their cocktail hour and reception. They had a caricature artist at their cocktail hour, and ended the night with a boozy Italian ice truck and an apple cider and cider donut station {fall is coming!!}! The highlight of their reception for me was their first dance. Giselle switched out of her dress and into a white jumpsuit for their entrance and beautifully choreographed dance! It was amazing, they did such a great job!! Another favorite part of their day for me was when they read each other their vows at their first look! I love this idea so much. I had a great time with these two, and I couldn’t be happier for them.

Congratulations again Giselle + Justin! Here’s to many years of making life fun together!! {check out that cake topper!!}

Brittany + Lou ~ New York City Engagement Session ~ Central Park

Brittany + Lou met me at Central Park for their sunrise engagement session on Tuesday morning. We met at 7am, and despite me thinking it would be cooler at that time – it was a hot and muggy morning in the park! Luckily these two were so happy just to be together and have the most perfect morning lighting for their session! Brittany wanted to have her photos taken at Bethesda Fountain, so we made that our first stop. We didn’t know they would be setting up for a big fundraising event they were having this week so we had to work around some scaffolding and workers building grand set ups, but we were able to still get the most beautiful photos of these two in this iconic location! We walked around the park and hit my favorite spots soaking in the morning light, and I had such a great time working with these two!

Congratulations again on your engagement Brittany and Lou! I cannot wait for the wedding!! See you in October!!
