We had the absolute worst weather for Lindsay and Joe’s engagement session! But Lindsay had her hair and makeup done and didn’t want to reschedule so we braved the mud, humidity and heat to shoot their engagement session at Cedarmere in Roslyn last week! After Cedarmere we stopped at the Firehouse where Joe volunteers to grab a few quick photos of them there {which I love!} It was a great shoot and I am so excited to work with these two again at their wedding next year!

Congratulations again on your engagement Lindsay + Joe! See you in May!

Gina and Kevin’s January 2018 wedding is one I am really looking forward to! For their engagement session they decided to shoot at Robert Moses, because Kevin loves lighthouses. I absolutely love when clients personalize their engagement session locations!  Working with Gina and Kevin was such a breeze. They are so goofy and they have so much fun together! When we arrived at the beach it started drizzling (and there was no rain in the forecast!!) but luckily it quickly passed and we were able to go ahead with the session! These two had me laughing so hard during their session. I asked them to walk to me, and as typical New Yorkers they sprinted to me!! It was so funny! We shot at both the lighthouse and on the beach and it ended up being a perfect night.

Congratulations again on your engagement Gina and Kevin! See you in a few months!!

Margaret and Tom’s wedding was the most perfect summer wedding. The weather was amazing, their flowers were stunning, and this couple is a dream to photograph! Their love for each other was so clear as we were photographing them. They are both so real and so sweet!

They both got ready at the Inn at Fox Hollow before heading over to their ceremony at Margarets home church Parkway Community Church in Hicksville. The pastor who married them has been in Margaret’s families life for years, and it was so meaningful to have him officiate! After their ceremony we headed over to Planting Fields Arboretum for their creative session with their bridal party, and then we headed back to Fox Hollow for their cocktails and reception! I have so many favorite moments from this wedding. I absolutely loved the moment when Margarets Dad saw her in her dress, and immediately following when her Mother replied “I love my husband so much, he is so good to us!” and went over to her husband for a big hug. So so sweet! I also loved seeing Tom’s big smile as Margaret’s Dad walked her down the aisle to him at their ceremony. Their stunning stationary from Written and Wrapped, their ribbon wands after the ceremony, their lush bouquets from Verbena Designs, and the mint bridesmaids dresses were all perfect. However, Margaret’s blush toned bridal gown from Demetrios was probably my most favorite detail from their day! And I absolutely love every single image from their day!

Congratulations again Margaret + Tom! Here’s to many years of love and happiness together!

This past Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Lauren and Tommy’s beautifully intimate engagement session. Lauren and I have been in contact with one another for a long time and I was so excited to finally meet her and Tommy and in such a lovely location! The two are set to wed at the Peconic Bay Yacht Club in Southold this November . Our shoot took place in Gantry Park, a beautiful park located not too far from the couple’s apartment. Lauren wore an elegant floral print dress which I absolutely loved. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was when Penny, Lauren and Tommy’s dog, made a guest appearance in the photos. Luckily Penny was not offended when I shot some solo shots of just the couple. We ended the shoot by going back to Lauren and Tommy’s apartment in Long Island City to take a family portrait with both Penny and their cat Oliver! The day could not have been more fun!

Congratulations on your engagement Lauren and Tommy! See you this November!

Jackie and Pete’s wedding was this past Friday at St. William the Abbot Church in Seaford. They had their gorgeous reception at Bellport Country Club and the weather was perfect! Jackie looked breathtaking in her strapless, sweetheart neckline, lace gown. We were blessed with the most beautiful golden sunlight during our portrait session down by the marina. Some of my favorite moments of the day were her gorgeous florals accented with deep burgundy roses, her sparkly flats, the delicious looking doughnut wall, Jackie’s adorable puppy who sat at my feet while I was shooting {he was so excited to be a part of their day!} It was amazing working with these two and I love the images we captured from their special day!

Congratulations Jackie and Pete! Here’s to many years of happiness!
