Deanna + Kevin’s Engagement Session ~ Babylon, New York ~ Robert Moses Lighthouse

I met up with Deanna and Kevin on the most beautiful sunny afternoon at Robert Moses Lighthouse for their engagement session this Tuesday. We originally planned on shooting at Planting Fields, but Deanna and Kevin both love the beach so they decided to switch locations since this location was meaningful to them! Deanna wore a short white floral dress that I loved and Kevin wore a blush button up. They have a surprise in store for their guests so they wanted to match their wedding colors with their engagement session outfit choices and I absolutely loved how they looked! We walked up to the lighthouse shooting along the boardwalk, and then walked the beach taking full advantage of the perfect golden light and then the incredible sunset and cotton candy sky! We got our workout in by walking the beach back to the cars and saw a baby deer on the way! I’ve seen so much wildlife at this beach. I love seeing all the animals just strolling on the beach at dusk {I even saw a baby fox once!}. It was a perfect afternoon and I had so much fun and laughed so much with these two. I cannot wait to document their wedding in a few months!!

Congratulations again Deanna + Kevin!! See you both in September!!

CHRISTINE + JOE’S WEDDING ~ SAYVILLE, NEW YORK ~ LANDS END

Christine and Joe were the sweetest couple! We immediately clicked during our meeting together. They originally went with another photographer but eventually decided to move forward with me {I couldn’t have been more excited!} They each had big, beautiful, loving families and both sets of parents were just as lovely as the couple was! Our day couldn’t have been more gorgeous ~ bright blue skies with nothing but sun. Christine’s details were so elegant. I loved her rings and her soft flowing gown. The couple looked beautiful at their church ceremony and were smiling ear-to-ear walking through their bubble exit! There were nothing but good vibes all day thanks to the big and fun bridal party! The dance floor was packed as everyone had an amazing dance party to celebrate Christine and Joe! Christine’s Maid of Honor gave her the most heart-warming gift too ~ A portrait of the beautiful bride! {The painting even had her freckles!} The day couldn’t have gone any more smoothly and I had a wonderful time working with them!

Congratulations Christine and Joe! Heres to many years of love and happiness!

Tracy + Eric ~ Oyster Bay, New York Engagement Session ~ Planting Fields Arboretum

My first encounter with Tracy’s family was when I shot her sister and brother-in-law, Amber and Matt’s, wedding a few years ago. I had a great time then and so I knew my session with Tracy and Eric would go just as smoothly.

I loved her flowing floral dress from Lulu’s as we had a great time in the warm June sun.

Can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Stonebridge Country Club next May!

Congratulations Tracy and Eric!

Brenna + Mike ~ East Williston, New York Wedding ~ Wheatley Hills Golf Club

I first met Brenna and Mike in my Northport office last fall when they were planning their June wedding and searching for a photographer. They decided to book with us and I couldn’t be happier they did! They live in Northport {just a few minutes from my office} and I was so excited to be meeting more people from the town as I had just moved into my studio last year! After shooting their engagement photos, and seeing how much fun they have together and how happy they are {even on the freezing afternoon on the beach where we shot their session!} I knew their wedding was going to be great! From their gorgeous invitations, a family heirloom tray I used for details, Brenna’s stunning gown, their soft and romantic florals, and the girls’ assorted blush bridesmaids dresses – every detail was planned perfectly! My favorite part of their day was the moment Mike surprised Brenna with a gorgeous diamond wedding band she wasn’t expecting at the alter!!! She was so surprised when she saw it and said “Is that my ring?!”. It was adorable and she was so so surprised! Despite the intense heat and humidity we had that day, we really had the best day with these two and I couldnt be more excited to share these photos with you!

Congratulations Brenna and Mike! Heres to many years of love and happy surprises along the way!!
